What we cover
Technology and money, and the seam where they meet. The kind of stories that nudge an industry, a company, or a worldview a few degrees in some direction. We avoid the ticker. We avoid the announcement-of-an-announcement. We try to be early on patterns rather than late on news.
How we work
Two readers, one editor. We start before sunrise, share what caught the eye, argue about the weight of it, and write up what makes it through. Pieces get a second read before they ship. Mistakes get an admission, not a quiet rewrite.
We file from a kitchen table in Europe. The tools are a notebook, a terminal, and a kettle that has earned its place.
What we are not
We are not a wire service. We do not chase every headline. We do not write advertorials, sponsored posts in disguise, or threads optimised for the algorithm. When we run a sponsored placement, it is marked, and we still pick the sponsor.
We are also not financial advisers, lawyers, or a substitute for either. Anything you read here is reporting and analysis. Make your own call before moving money.
How we pay for it
Three small streams. Reader support — a few people who like the paper enough to chip in. A handful of carefully picked sponsors per month. A scattering of affiliate links where the recommendation would have happened anyway; we mark them. That’s the whole budget.
